About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a multifamily residential location in New York, NY. The officer will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, report observations, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to residents, visitors, and staff. The role is scheduled Tuesday and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Pay is $18.30–$19.30 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and document observations as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific procedures, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
