About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Compliance in Vineland, New Jersey, you will serve and safeguard clients at an educational location. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. The role includes providing customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Work is full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at a rate of $20.73 per hour.

Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Employees must participate in industry-specific security training. Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and local regulations.

Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and respond professionally to security-related concerns.
• Communicate clearly while supporting a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
