About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role includes providing customer service, following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Multiple shifts are available, and the position pays $25.00 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs.
• Meet any applicable licensing requirements under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and take part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
