About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Access Verification in Jacksonville, Florida, you will help safeguard a financial institution by conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points, and responding to security concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, members, visitors, and vendors. This is a full-time position scheduled Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 21 years old for armed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Industry-specific security training is required, and licensing may be required before employment depending on state or local regulations.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
Monitor access points, validate credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and maintain required qualifications for armed duty.
