About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Driver in Somers Point, New Jersey, you will safeguard clients in a healthcare setting. You will conduct routine rounds and visible patrols to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through professional customer service and clear communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. This is a part-time position paying $17.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM. Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, following protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as directed, and documenting visitors, deliveries, and unusual activity.
Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
