About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a vehicle patrol driving post at a government location in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a secure environment. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a focus on customer service and clear communication. This is a full-time position paying $19.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM and Friday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Any applicable licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and government facility stakeholders while following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of government facility buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report unusual activity, facility conditions, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel or a supervisor.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site policies.
