About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Litchfield Park, Arizona, to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. The officer will conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support security-related operations, and provide customer service. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at a pay rate of $20.39 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, is required for this driving position.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience.
A Guard Card or applicable license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills during incidents and critical situations, including access-control concerns, delivery activity, and facility disruptions.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points and help verify visitors, drivers, and contractors follow site entry and departure procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities according to site-specific reporting requirements.
