About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a retail and mall location in Sherman Oaks, California, you will help safeguard clients and provide a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, provide customer service, and represent Allied Universal’s values with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Monitor access points and site activity, and report maintenance issues, hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Complete detailed and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs while maintaining a professional presence.
