About The Position

As a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Overland Park, Kansas, you will provide a welcoming, professional presence for visitors, tenants, and staff. You will manage access, monitor security-related activity, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with care and professionalism. This full-time front desk role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate front desk by following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
Communicate with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership about daily activities, incidents, and customer service needs.
