About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer for a mobile patrol position at an industrial refinery location in Lovington, New Mexico. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s driver policy. The officer will provide professional customer service and work with a reliable team that acts with integrity. This is a full-time position paying $21.37 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Duties include following security procedures and site-specific policies, responding calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conducting regular and random patrols of the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable licensing requirements that may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
