About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Response Driver in Castle Hayne, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in an educational setting. This unarmed driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors. The position is part-time, scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, contacting campus personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in an educational environment.
