About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a full-time Security Officer-Mobile Patrol in Durham, North Carolina. The role emphasizes customer service and building connections while protecting people and property. The posting lists four schedules: Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.; Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; or Friday through Tuesday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The hourly wage is $18.10, and DailyPay is available to employees.

The officer welcomes and assists visitors, manages access control, conducts patrols, checks security equipment, responds to incidents, provides first aid, and coordinates with emergency teams. Other duties include answering questions, writing incident reports, communicating security concerns, and helping ensure the safety of individuals and property. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Hold an active PPSB license.
• Hold CPR certification.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least one year of security experience.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a state license if required.
