About The Position

Northeast Security, Inc. is hiring part-time Security Officers in the Andover area. Available schedules are Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. or Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The role involves patrolling and monitoring premises, identifying and reporting irregularities or suspicious activity, responding to safety and security concerns, and maintaining detailed incident and patrol records. Officers may communicate with local law enforcement and fire departments, perform unarmed interior or exterior foot patrols, and maintain the patrol vehicle. Applicants must meet the listed experience, driving, education, communication, and screening requirements. Positions are contingent on applicant eligibility, availability, background screening, drug testing, and successful completion of orientation.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security and customer service experience.
Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years.
Pass a 5-year RMV records check with no more than 2 moving violations and maintain a clean driving record.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Dependable means of transportation.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to walk for long periods.
Strong customer service, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, professionalism, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to be responsible and friendly toward clients and residents, multi-task, and self-manage in a dynamic environment.
Ability to maintain ethical and professional standards and effective relationships with company and client personnel.
Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Neat and professional appearance.
Successfully pass all pre-employment background and drug screenings, and complete orientation.

Knowledge of CCTV and access control systems.

Responsibilities

Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities, suspicious behavior, or security breaches.
Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
Conduct foot patrols, including unarmed interior and/or exterior patrols.
Write detailed daily reports about incidents on the premises.
Complete and submit forms associated with patrol activities and duties.
Respond to incidents involving security and safety concerns, requests for assistance, and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
Maintain the patrol vehicle, including routine or corrective maintenance, vacuuming, and washing.
Comply with requirements and directives in the on-site operations manual and post orders.
Perform other duties required by the client or Northeast Security, Inc.
