About The Position

Northeast Security, Inc. is hiring full-time and part-time Security Officers for the Burlington area. The role involves patrolling and monitoring premises, observing and reporting incidents, responding to security and safety concerns, and providing assistance to clients and residents. Officers may conduct interior or exterior unarmed foot patrols and communicate with local law enforcement and fire departments as necessary. The position also includes completing daily incident reports and patrol-related forms, following on-site manuals and post orders, and maintaining the patrol vehicle, including routine or corrective maintenance and cleaning. Parking is available on-site. Positions are contingent on applicant eligibility, availability, orientation, and successful completion of required background and drug screenings.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both written and verbal.
Neat and professional appearance.
Dependable means of transportation.
Ability to walk for long periods.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to show responsibility and friendliness toward clients and residents.
Strong attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills.
Professionalism, conflict-resolution and problem-solving ability.
Ability to multitask and self-manage in a dynamic environment.
Ability to maintain high ethical and professional standards and effective relationships across company and client organizations.
Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Successful completion of all pre-employment background and drug screenings.

Customer service experience, or experience or education in a related field, is preferred.

Responsibilities

Patrol and monitor premises to detect irregularities, suspicious behavior, or security breaches.
Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
Conduct foot patrols, including unarmed interior and/or exterior patrols.
Write detailed daily reports about incidents occurring on the premises.
Properly complete and submit forms associated with patrol activities and duties.
Respond to incidents involving security and safety concerns and requests for assistance, evaluating appropriate courses of action.
Maintain the patrol vehicle, including routine or corrective maintenance, vacuuming, and car washing.
Comply with requirements and directives in the on-site operations manual and post orders.
Perform other duties as required by the client or Northeast Security, Inc.
