About The Position

Seasonal part-time Security Officers safeguard people, property, and client or organizational assets. They monitor premises for suspicious activity, enforce rules and regulations, maintain a visible security presence, and respond to incidents and emergencies. Positions are available in Nashua and Salem, New Hampshire, at $18.00 per hour, and in Merrimack and Manchester, New Hampshire, at $17.50 per hour. Available shifts are 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., and 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. The posting also notes a permanent part-time role in Salem, Friday through Sunday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. (24 hours per week). Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent observational and de-escalation skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with global and local security teams.
• Commitment to ethical practices and following safety protocols while maintaining a safe and respectful approach.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and patrol assigned premises to identify suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and safety hazards.
• Enforce access-control policies, including checking identification, issuing visitor passes, and restricting access to authorized personnel.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, including medical emergencies, fire hazards, or criminal activity; report or escalate incidents to law enforcement as needed.
• Document and report incidents, suspicious activity, security breaches, and safety concerns in clear, accurate, detailed reports.
• Conduct foot or vehicle patrols of entrances, parking lots, perimeters, and other areas; check for unlocked or tampered doors, windows, or gates.
• Greet and assist visitors and employees, provide directions, and answer inquiries professionally.
• Inspect premises for safety hazards, fire risks, and conditions that could compromise the safety of people or property.
• Handle minor disputes or disturbances using conflict-resolution skills.
• Coordinate with security staff, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.
