About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Checkpoint Operations in Dallas, Texas, you will safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will screen individuals and items, monitor access points, report security-related concerns, provide professional customer service, communicate with team members, and support site operations with integrity. The position is full-time and pays $16.82 per hour. The schedule is Thursday and Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and vehicles according to established access-control and screening procedures.
• Inspect identification, verify authorized access, and document visitor, package, and screening activity using site-required processes.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, loading areas, and the perimeter.
• Report unusual conditions to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
