About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Checkpoint in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other industries. At a healthcare location, you will be a welcoming, visible presence who helps maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will manage access, communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service. The position is full-time and pays $17.01 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, patients, staff, and vendors at a healthcare front desk and follow site-specific access procedures.
Monitor entry activity, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
Respond calmly to security-related incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Communicate with healthcare personnel, site management, and emergency responders about security concerns, access issues, and incident information.
Maintain a professional and courteous presence to help deter unauthorized access and support an orderly healthcare environment.
