About The Position

As a Security Officer Checkpoint Operations in West Point, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients at an automotive manufacturing location. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. The role involves carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.

This is a full-time position paying $16.25 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday and Sunday, 9:00 PM–5:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at an automotive manufacturing location; verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access records.
• Control vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery access in accordance with established site policies, including directing authorized arrivals to designated locations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
