About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an armed response Security Officer for a flexible role in Plano, Texas. This casual position varies according to the day and special events, and may involve customer service, patrols, surveillance, and responding to incidents. The officer helps protect individuals and property while adapting to changing assignments and situations. The role pays $31.00 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Must have a Level III armed license and a valid driver's license.
• Five years of armed experience are required if the stated education and experience qualifications are not met.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have responsive and strong problem-solving skills.
• Hold a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• Military or law enforcement experience is highly preferred.
• An associate degree or higher is highly preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities
