About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an armed response Security Officer for a flexible, casual role in Plano, Texas. The assignment may vary by day and special event and can include customer service, patrols, and surveillance. Candidates must have a Level III armed license and a valid driver’s license. Military or law enforcement experience is highly preferred. Candidates who do not meet those preferred experience criteria must have an associate degree or higher and five years of armed experience. The position pays $31.00 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Must have a Level III armed license and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass an extensive screening process.
• Must be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Must have responsive, strong problem-solving skills.
• Must have a state license if required.
• If military or law enforcement experience is not held, an associate degree or higher and five years of armed experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
