About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a higher education location in Honolulu, Hawaii. The officer will monitor and patrol campus areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication support to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The position pays $23.39 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members by following site-specific procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate campus personnel or emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions to help deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming campus environment.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity according to site-specific reporting procedures.
