About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The officer will help safeguard the site by maintaining a visible presence, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. The role involves professional communication, customer-focused assistance, reporting observations, and representing Allied Universal’s values. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, and pays $18.00 per hour. Employees can use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or potential concerns.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established emergency response protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear and accurate reports on patrol findings, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.
