About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Independence, Kentucky. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitors assigned areas, and provides customer service and communication. The role is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and pays $18.22 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, as permitted by applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; notify site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, building perimeters, and other assigned areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and report concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
