About The Position
As a Security Officer Convenience Store Patrol in Los Angeles, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, interact professionally with customers and employees, report observations, and use technology to support daily operations. The role is full-time and pays $18.42 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, and Wednesday and Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
- Interact professionally with customers and employees, report observations, and use technology to support daily operations.
