About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer at a financial institution in Henrico, Virginia. The officer will provide a visible security presence, conduct driving and foot patrols, and help maintain a welcoming and secure environment for employees and visitors. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal policy. The role includes customer service, access and visitor monitoring, incident response, and reporting. The scheduled hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
Identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access issues.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
Observe and report conditions that may affect facility operations or require follow-up.
