About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Management in Salina, Kansas. The position provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned logistics and distribution site, with a six-month commitment to the designated shift. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase their hours, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The listed pay rate is $15.45 per hour. The scheduled shift is Friday, 10:00 PM–3:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and management, document observations and incidents, and support orderly traffic flow for deliveries and departures.
