About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Troutdale, Oregon. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitors assigned areas, and provides customer service. The role includes communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and site personnel while supporting a team that values integrity and innovative solutions. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, entrances, employee access points, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and help deter unauthorized entry, theft, trespassing, and other security concerns through visible patrols and timely reporting.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
