About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Eugene, Oregon, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service and communication. The position is full-time and pays $22.00 per hour. The schedule is 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Applicants must meet applicable age, education, driver’s license, background investigation, drug screening, and licensing requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and in a problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility areas, including the building exterior, perimeter, access points, and parking areas.
• Monitor access activity and report suspicious conditions, unauthorized persons, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with company and site procedures.
