About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Badge Verification in South Bend, Indiana, you will help safeguard clients across a range of industries. This unarmed patrol role involves monitoring and patrolling an assigned location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control activities, and providing professional customer service. The position requires driving and a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The position is full-time and pays $18.20 per hour. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants for unarmed roles must be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Support access control activities.
