About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Jacksonville, Florida, you will safeguard clients at a financial institution by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. This driving position supports a professional environment and requires integrity, teamwork, and reliability in responding to site needs. The role is full-time and pays $17.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements.
