Security Officer - Routine Patrol

About The Position
Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in South Bend, Indiana, to monitor and patrol assigned areas at a logistics-focused location. The officer maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conducts routine patrols, reports observations, responds to situations as needed, and provides customer service and communication. The position pays $18.20 per hour and is scheduled Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
- Monitor assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
- Report observations and communicate as needed.
