About The Position

As a Security Officer Routine Patrol in Chester, Virginia, you will safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. This unarmed position monitors assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, and maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The officer provides customer service, communicates with employees and visitors, and supports a welcoming environment. The position is full-time and pays $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements if required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, loading areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, policy violations, and security-related incidents.
