About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a commercial real estate location in New York, NY. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. The position requires customer service, clear communication, and reporting security-related concerns. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM and pays $19.06 per hour. Duties include following site-specific procedures and policies, monitoring property activity, responding to incidents, and preparing accurate reports.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, lobbies, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and observe building activity; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following site-specific escalation procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and property representatives.
