About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area.

The role involves conflict resolution and de-escalation, frequent interactions with client employees and guests, identifying and reporting safety issues or suspicious activity, completing assigned rounds, and providing customer service. Officers use technology devices throughout their shift, conduct property tours, and carry out other tasks of a similar nature and scope as required by the assigned site.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
• Safe driving and CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
