About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Surveillance Security Officer in Syracuse, New York. The officer will monitor security systems and surveillance screens, identify potential threats, document incidents, respond to emergencies, and help protect people and property. The position has a set overnight schedule on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The hourly wage is $19.50. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a valid New York State Guard Card.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
