About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time overnight Surveillance Security Officer in Syracuse, New York. The officer monitors security systems and screens for suspicious activity, documents events and incidents, responds to potential threats, patrols the premises, controls access to secure areas, and helps protect people and property. The role also involves identifying possible security-system vulnerabilities or malfunctions and collaborating with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.

The set schedule is Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The hourly wage is $19.50. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a valid New York State Guard Card.
