About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Jail Tower Alarm Systems Monitor in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, responding to alarms, documenting activity using computer or tablet systems, and providing professional communication and customer service. The role involves carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The listed pay rate is $21.00 per hour. The schedule includes Tuesday and Sunday from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM and Thursday from 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to background investigation and, where permitted by law, drug screening. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
