About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Painesville, Ohio, you will help safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and reporting observations. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment while following site-specific policies and security procedures. The position is scheduled Thursday through Saturday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and pays $17.39 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access by checking credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing individuals in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
