About The Position

As a full-time unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense billing operations location in Grand Prairie, Texas, you will help safeguard the site and provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors. You will monitor assigned areas, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents and alarms, document observations, and help maintain a professional and secure environment. The role is scheduled Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at a rate of $21.01 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations, identifying and reporting irregular conditions.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive business information.
