About The Position

As a part-time, unarmed Security Officer in Milford, Massachusetts, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide customer service. You will use computer or tablet tools to communicate and collaborate with the site team. The position pays $21.50 per hour and is scheduled Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Access control and badge experience.
Customer service experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior work areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help deter unauthorized access through a visible presence.
Complete accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
