About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Access Screening in Denver, Colorado, serving clients in industries including healthcare. At a healthcare location, the officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supports access control. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state and local law and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions, and report unauthorized access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, contact appropriate personnel, and document actions taken.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities.
