Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location in Aiea, Hawaii, you will help safeguard clients, tenants, shoppers, visitors, and store personnel. The role involves driving and conducting routine and random patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe activity, report concerns, respond professionally to incidents, and provide customer service in support of a welcoming environment. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. The position is part-time and pays $23.25 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday, 12:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m., and Sunday, 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable licensing requirements may apply.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, if required prior to employment.

- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by following site-specific procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site procedures.
- Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required daily activity documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
