About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a logistics and distribution location in New Castle, Delaware, you will help safeguard clients and maintain a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will conduct patrols, maintain a visible security presence, provide customer service and clear communication, report observations, and respond to site needs. The position is scheduled for daytime hours on Wednesday and Friday from 1:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access, verify visitor and driver credentials as directed by site policies, and report unauthorized activity or access concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations and complete required reports in accordance with company and site procedures.
