About The Position
The Security Officer patrols casino and track areas or works at a designated post. The position protects patrons and employees from illegal activity and during emergencies, safeguards money and other assets transported to, from, and within the gaming facility and related departments, and assists with controlling and organizing access to track operation areas. The Security Officer investigates and records unusual occurrences and incidents in both a bound book and electronic format, verifies jackpot payouts during system outages, and monitors and reports on fire command matters. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods and promoting superior guest service through a professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor. Other related duties may be assigned.

- Promote superior external customer and guest service through professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
