About The Position
As a part-time Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through customer service and clear communication while contributing to reliable operations. The role includes a Saturday and Sunday overnight schedule, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and pays $17.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
- Communicate clearly and support a welcoming environment.
