About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol and customer support Security Officer at a financial institution in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard employees, customers, visitors, and the facility. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a welcoming environment, provide customer service, and document security-related activities using computer or tablet tools. The position follows a Wednesday-through-Sunday schedule, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and pays $22.75 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of entry points, parking areas, offices, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and direct visitors in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial institution information.
