Security Officer Patrol Customer Support
About The Position
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Eastchester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide customer service while reflecting the company’s culture of teamwork and integrity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The listed pay range is $22.12–$23.12 per hour.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
