About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer for access control at an assigned manufacturing and industrial site in Crossett, Arkansas. The role provides a fixed weekly schedule of anchor shifts, with a six-month commitment to the assigned site and shifts. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform to increase their hours, potentially working up to 40 hours per week, while retaining the option to scale back. The position pays $16.50 per hour with weekly pay.

The scheduled shifts are Monday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The officer provides customer service, applies site-specific access-control procedures, monitors entry points, verifies credentials and authorizations, maintains records, directs people and vehicles, responds to alarms and incidents, and patrols assigned areas.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Hold a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers at a manufacturing and industrial location while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency-response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain entry records, and direct authorized individuals and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations; notify site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
