About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for access control at a logistics and distribution location in Cudahy, Wisconsin. The role provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to the designated site and shift. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed.

The position provides customer service while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency-response activities. The scheduled shift is Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.64 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local law and regulation, potentially before employment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
• Commit to the assigned site and designated weekly shift for six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency-response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue appropriate access materials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facility, direct authorized traffic as needed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established site procedures, and promptly notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
