About The Position

Securitas is hiring a Security Officer for its flex/float team at a corporate client site in Wilton, Connecticut. The officer covers different posts and shifts as needed to help protect people, property, and information. Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule and float between posts and shifts.
Strong communication and observation skills.
Comfortable standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must meet applicable state or local security officer licensing requirements.
Must pass background screening in line with company standards.

Nice To Haves

Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry experience is considered a good fit.

Responsibilities

Cover assigned posts and shifts as needed, including days, evenings, overnights, weekdays, and weekends.
Control facility access by checking IDs and badges, managing visitors, and monitoring entry and exit points.
Conduct interior and exterior patrols, checking doors, parking areas, and common spaces.
Observe and report security or safety issues and respond to alarms and incidents.
Write clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports.
Provide professional, courteous customer service and information to employees and visitors.
Follow site-specific post orders and company policies.
Monitor premises, preserve order, and enforce client-site regulations and directives.
